APAM Validation Workshop
On 3rd October 2024, Bridge View Hotel in Lilongwe hosted a significant event: the Validation Workshop for the Association of People with Albinism in Malawi (APAM) strategic plan. Facilitated by HIFA Consultancy, the workshop brought together a wide range of stakeholders to review and finalize the organization’s strategic plan.
The workshop was an opportunity for participants to engage in meaningful discussions about the draft strategic plan. Stakeholders from diverse backgrounds shared their insights, ensuring the plan addressed the key priorities and challenges faced by people with albinism in Malawi. HIFA Consultancy’s facilitation guided the conversations, creating a structured and inclusive environment for everyone to contribute effectively.

The validation process was thorough, with participants carefully analyzing the proposed strategies and providing valuable feedback. Their contributions helped refine the plan, making it more practical and aligned with the organization’s mission and the needs of the community it serves.
By the end of the workshop, there was a shared sense of achievement and direction. The strategic plan was validated as a comprehensive roadmap for APAM’s work in promoting inclusion, advocating for rights, and supporting people with albinism in Malawi.
